What is “No Fault” Insurance?

No Fault insurance, a/k/a Personal Injury Protection (PIP) is insurance for those injured in a car accident, regardless of fault.

1. You are covered by no fault insurance, no matter what, even if you caused the accident.

2. No fault covers you for up to $50,000 in lost wages and medical benefits.

3. All hospital, physical therapy, psychiatric treatment is covered under no fault.

4. Lost wages up to 80% of your monthly salary, up to $2,000 are covered.
